When it comes to jigsaw puzzle brands, we all have our favorites (springbok, ravensburger, sunsout, buffalo games, etc.), but what sets each of us puzzle lovers apart is that some of us love doing just vintage puzzles and others enjoy doing more recently produced puzzles, some even enjoy a mix of both vintage and current puzzles. Although we all have a shared love of puzzles and enjoy the fun and excitement that comes with completing each puzzle, we also have our differences when it comes to puzzling and may love different brands and/or different kinds of image (photography, famous paintings, cartoon/comic illustrations, etc.) art.

My personal favorite puzzle brands, include:

-Sunsout- I love the quality of their pieces, they interlock really well together and don’t wear and tear as fast or easily as other puzzle brands. Another plus of sunsout brand is that they use Eco-Friendly soy-based inks and recycled paperboard for each of their puzzles. I love that they help keep our earth clean and help us to be able to also enjoy nature by using recycled, eco-friendly materials.

-Cobble Hill- Their pieces are always top of the line quality, not just because they are made so well, but also they have a linen print texture to each piece and are made from a thick paperboard, which gives them a luxurious feel and look. Cobble Hill Puzzles also makes each puzzle piece a random cut, unique shape so that no two puzzles are exactly the same. I love and appreciate how much time, thought and hard work goes into each of Cobble Hills puzzles, they not only have fun, unique images, but they work with different artists to come up with these images and that takes a lot of time and dedication.

-White Mountain- They have a unique, but nostalgic theme to most of their puzzles and I enjoy working on these types of puzzles, because sometimes it brings back memories from my childhood and I can’t help, but to laugh and smile at those memories. Their puzzle pieces are also of great quality and just have that top-notch feel to them, that makes you want to do more puzzles from their brand.

-Springbok- The pieces on these puzzles are most often random-cut and are on the thicker side, which I love random-cut puzzles, because it adds to the fun and the challenge of putting the puzzle together. I find that I like a puzzle that has a little more of a challenge (not too challenging) to it, there’s just something fun about that type of puzzle. Springbok does a great job at coming up with and working with different artists to create images that are fun, but also colorful and full of life, that’s why i keep going back to this brand for more.

Please feel free to comment on this post with some of your favorite puzzle brands and/or the kinds of images you enjoy doing, I would love to hear from some of you. If you have any questions about my puzzling journey so far, please don’t hesitate to ask.
